How to: Spaghetti Squash

  1. Cut spaghetti squash in half length wise using a sharp knife and remove seeds.
  2. Season both sides with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cooking in the oven -place squash flesh side down on a baking sheet and roast in a 400 degree oven for 45-60 minutes ( time will vary depending on the size of your speghetti squash).
  4. Cooking in the microwave- place squash flesh side down in a microwave safe dish. Add 1/2 in of water to dish and cover with plastic wrap. Poke a small hole in the plastic wrap and cook on high for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Allow squash to cool before handling.
  6. Using a fork scrap out flesh. Squash will come out in spaghetti like strands.
